Srimad Bhagvad Geeta is a part of the great epic poem ‘The Mahabharata’ was written over 2500 years ago by Saint Vyasa. Since it fell from the divine lips of Shri Krishan on the field of battle and stilled the surging emotions of his disciple and friend, many troubled hearts has it quieted and strengthened and many weary souls has it led to Him!
Shri Krishan – what an essence, charm and magnetism this name has got, can be realized only by the one who has tasted the divine bliss by reciting this name with all love. Veer ji viewed Lord Krishan in a different and distinct form- Jagat Guru – LORD KRISHAN AS THE GREATEST WORLD TEACHER.
Our most revered Gurudev Swami Shri Geeta nand ji popularly known as Veer ji, was born on 20 November 1929. He moved to forest for tapa (life of austerity). It was the state of supreme renunciation when all worldly ties were broken and he dedicated himself completely to the realization of God.
Satsang Bhawan, Ambala City is also known as “Veer Ji Ki Kutiya”. Satsang Bhawan is not just a building of bricks & stones but a light house for thousands of strayed souls. Now it has assumed the status of a place of pilgrimage. It stands for the mission of Veer ji (Swami Geeta nand ji) guiding us how to live happily in the world and how to leave this world happily.
In his Satsangs, Veer ji always translated the preachings of Shri Krishan as mentioned in Srimad Bhagvad Geeta ji in the simplest form so that every devotee can understand what Shri Krishan actually meant by all the versus in Geeta ji. He told every person coming to Satsang Bhawan that how a man can adapt Geeta ji’s preachings in order to live happily and leave happily.
For all the devotees, who didn’t had the privilege to Listen to Veer ji’s Satsangs or want to see them again, we have posted all the collection we have in Satsang Bhawan. After watching these Videos, one can understand how important it is for any person to live according to Geeta ji’s preachings.
